Power to the Meeple 17 – Augustus, Motto Tanto Cuore & Murder at the Juice Joint
Viva Augustus! Oh mighty Augustus! I’ve traveled the world in search of the perfect game for you. And behold! The Iberian locals called this game ‘Bingo’, but I’ve rechristened it in honor of your beneficence and wisdom. I present to you the tribute and game that will now be known as Augustus!
But while Augustus is worthy of the Gods themselves, I also brought a humble selection of games from two of the corners of the Earth. Motto Tanto Cuore is a deck building game from the far East. The people there are known for their questionable customs–like how they keep their servants in scanty clothing, desperately waiting in a city park at the height of winter in hopes of employment.
And far from the West, I’ve brought a game about savages from a far off land called Chi-Town. In this brutal world, every good vice is made illegal, and the citizens are reduced to duplicity to enjoy their lives. Such is the two act tale of violence and retribution that leads to the Murder at the Juice Joint.
